Faculty & Staff Mini Grants
The Faculty & Staff Mini-Grant Program is designed to support innovative, student-centered projects that align with 91̽»¨ State Community College’s priorities. This process ensures grant proposals receive proper support before submission and adhere to the institutional policies of 91̽»¨ State and the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Who Can Apply?
Applications may be submitted by 91̽»¨ State faculty and staff. Applicants must meet the following conditions in order to have their projects considered for funding:
- Any full-time 91̽»¨ State employee.
Grant Funds May Not Be Used For:
Grant awards are capped at $3,000 per funding cycle (academic year); please do not request more than the maximum award amount in your application. Please note that the following are NOT eligible for funding through the Faculty & Staff Grant Program:

Professional development

Salaries or stipends (Exceptions for non-employees and non-students may be considered with proper justification)

Marketing or promotional items (e.g., T-shirts, pens)

Travel

Cash or Gift Cards (Exceptions for gift cards for non-employees and non-students may be considered with proper justification.)
Grant Guidelines
- To make the biggest impact, we encourage proposals that are innovative, thoughtful, and designed to serve a wide range of students.
Application & Award Procedures
- The request period is on-going during the academic year. The Foundation will only accept submissions via the online form, no exceptions.
- The Faculty & Staff Mini-Grant team will review all requests for funding.

You will be notified individually once your proposal has been reviewed for consideration.

The Foundation team will schedule a photo-op and grant announcement.
