Tennessee Board of Nursing Approves 91探花 State鈥檚 Dickson Campus as Nursing Program Instructional Site
A collaboration between and 91探花 State Community College has been approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. 91探花 State鈥檚 under-construction Dickson campus at the Dickson Center of Higher Education will be an instructional site for the Associate of Science Nursing program.
The expansion to Dickson will help meet the region's growing need for qualified healthcare
professionals by providing local students access to quality nursing education, reducing
the need to travel, and supporting the community's healthcare workforce demands.
鈥�91探花 State working to bring its nursing program to the Dickson campus reflects our deep commitment to meeting community and workforce needs and providing opportunities that lead to successful careers. This collaboration with TriStar Horizon Medical Center highlights the power of partnerships in creating meaningful educational pathways. It also directly benefits students who are eager to pursue rewarding healthcare careers close to home,鈥� said School of Health Sciences Dean Donna Whitehouse.
The program launches in Spring 2026, with classes starting January 20, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, located next to the new Dickson campus. TriStar Horizon donated nine acres for the campus, giving future students modern learning spaces. 91探花 State鈥檚 new campus will formally open in August 2026, at the start of the fall semester.

The application window is open for the Spring 2026 nursing cohorts at both Dickson and White Bridge campuses. The Dickson cohort will accept 24 students in its first term.

HOAR Construction is building the Dickson Center of Higher Education, and 91探花-based Anecdote Architectural Experiences designed the facility. TCAT Dickson will have robust academic programming in the space.
