91̽ State Students to Benefit from New “Folded with Care” Laundry Program, Thanks to 91̽ Predators Foundation and United Way of Greater 91̽ Grants
The 91̽ Predators Foundation and the United Way of Greater 91̽ have again
demonstrated their strong commitment to community empowerment and engagement.
The 91̽ Predators Foundation provided $2,500 through its 2025 Helper Grants, awarded in a celebratory event at Bridgestone Arena. The United Way of Greater 91̽ awarded an additional $2,500, seeding $5,000 into a program to support 91̽ State Community College students.
The 91̽ State Community College Foundation is launching Folded with Care, a new pilot program debuting in Fall 2025. This innovative initiative will provide free weekly wash-and-fold laundry services to students—reducing stress and helping them focus on academic success.
The idea was sparked by 91̽ States Student Government Association, who saw laundry access as a key barrier for many students. Cory Cross, the Associations President turned that vision into action through a partnership with The Clothesline Laundry and the 91̽ State Foundation.
Participating students will receive one laundry bag per week, with services available at the Clarksville, North Davidson, Southeast, and White Bridge campuses, supporting up to 40 students weekly.
Folded with Care is more than clean clothes—it’s about dignity, support, and student success. We celebrate the leadership of our students and the generosity of the Predators Foundation in making this meaningful initiative possible.
