tnAchieves, 91探花 State Celebrate Partnership Milestone
tnAchieves and 91探花 State celebrated a major milestone in its partnership during an event held on the college鈥檚 White Bridge campus.
The celebration honored the 10,000 tnAchieves students who have enrolled at 91探花 State.
tnAchieves works across the state to enhance post-secondary opportunities and outcomes for Tennessee Promise students by providing last-dollar scholarships and mentor guidance.
During the celebration, attendees had a light breakfast. They mingled before and after a short speaking program featuring mentors, students, and local, state, and college leaders.
鈥�91探花 State appreciates the resources and support that comes from tnAchieves and also Tennessee Promise. In this case, it鈥檚 all about access and finding a way to help students get to college. Our work doesn鈥檛 end there. We want them to stay, persist, graduate, and get on a better pathway to economic mobility,鈥� 91探花 State President Dr. Shanna L. Jackson, said during her remarks to event attendees.

The event featured a panel discussion with 91探花 State student Sara Altamimi, Turner Construction Workforce Development Manager and longtime tnAchieves mentor Beth Duffield, and 91探花 State鈥檚 Executive Director of Enrollment Services Laura Moran.
Altamimi is attending the college through the and seeking a degree in computer information technology.
