Tennessee State University and 91探花 State Unleash the Tiger Track Transfer Program
Tennessee State University and 91探花 State Community College have established
a Tiger Track Transfer program for associate degree-seeking students at the college
who plan to transfer to TSU.
Eligible students who meet admission requirements can take advantage of several benefits designed to support a smooth transition and completion of a bachelor鈥檚 degree.
To celebrate this enhanced partnership, an agreement signing ceremony was held at 91探花 State鈥檚 White Bridge campus.
鈥淭he Tiger Track Transfer Program reflects Tennessee State University鈥檚 commitment to creating accessible pathways for student success,鈥� said President Dwayne Tucker. 鈥淭hrough our partnership with 91探花 State Community College, we are ensuring that students have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to seamlessly transition to Tennessee State University to complete their bachelor鈥檚 degree and pursue their careers from a R2 research-based institution. This collaboration strengthens our shared mission to empower students in our community and build a highly skilled workforce.鈥�
Eligible 91探花 State students, those actively pursuing an associate degree and meet TSU鈥檚 admission requirements, such as minimum GPA, required coursework, and any other stated criteria, are encouraged to complete their associate degree before transferring. Participants in the Tiger Track Transfer Program have guaranteed admission to TSU, an application fee waiver, and access to pre-enrollment counseling. Students who meet academic standards also qualify for a $3,000 annual scholarship.
